Construction of a building materials village at the Vergotedok in Brussels
A complex steel structure forms the basis of this industrial transshipment site for building materials. Tetra Architects designed a sophisticated warehouse for this site.They placed a ruler along the quay, so to speak, and used the mooring posts to divide the vast site into strips. Their design is based on a ten-meter canopy, which they repeated twenty times. The end result is a unique, elongated shed with a sawtooth roof.
